A collection of various experiments with panoramic photography. Most of these shots were taken without tripod on a normal consumer level camera (a Canon PowerShot A570 IS, to be specific!) so the quality can be a bit iffy at times.

Chemnitz, Germany (QTVR)
Quicktime VR view of the above shot, overlooking the city of Chemnitz, Germany. The church in the shot is the same one also in one of the above shots, although unfortunately I am not quite sure of it's name. If anyone reading this knows, please e-mail me!
Turntable VR Test
A small test done in Flash 8 of acheiving a 360 view by using an old record player as the turntable base. Recorded with the video function of a cheap video camera, the video was taken into Flash, broken into frames and controlled by mouse cursor.
ET:QW 3D Screenshot
Similar idea to the above, but the content being rendered by the Quake Wars engine, and the camera facing out from the origin, rather than spinning around it. Some old Halo 3 screenshots used this effect, however they were done using QuickTime, compared to Flash here.
ET:QW Cubic Screenshot
Using the Quake Wars engine again, this time with a script to take the 6 different perspectives, then loaded into a (demo) program that's generally used for photographs. Besides some corners not showing up right, the effect appears to work quite well.
